Rules and Guidelines
Hi guys!
As you all know, we are here to improve our artistic abilities and to communicate and exchange critique with other members. To make this forum as enjoyable and useful as possible, please abide by the following rules:
1) Be polite.
And no, I don't mean saying "please" and "thank you", even though that would be good as well.
Treat the fellow members with respect. Being more skilled than someone is no excuse for arrogance, patronizing behaviour or trolling. There is a line between constructive criticism and offensive commentary/flaming, don't cross it!
2) Provide feedback.
Using the forum as an art dump will not be tolerated. What goes around comes around, so try and help the others. You'll be awarded. (:
3) Stay on-topic.
While there is some leeway for straying off-topic in the "General Discussion" thread, please don't do so in the Classroom. It's counter-productive and you might be considered a spammer. Just sayin'.
4) No pornography, racist/sexist/otherwise discriminating comments and illegal stuff.
You know what I'm talking about.
5) Keep your avatars and signatures sensibly big.
I'm not going to say how big, but the avatars should not hide your posts and a signature around 5 lines and/or with one banner is fine.
***
Also, it's not a rule but a suggestion, but I'm not in favour of one-word posts. Discussion is way more than a single-worded reply to a question, y'know.
***
The same rules are in power in the ChatBox. Schedule for big ChatBox meetings will be posted in the General Discussion. (After I manage to find an hour suitable for as many people as possible.) So keep an eye out for updates~
Okay, guys, I trust you'll play fair and follow these (simple) rules. If not... Well, let's just say I have admin powarz and I'm not afraid to use them. So yeah.
